MaddZart's recently formed charity "the MaddZart Hands on Initiative", as part of Vincy Mas has teamed with the Ministry Health and National Aids Secretariat to implement a safe sex campaign dubbed "Catch the Vibe, Not the Virus"
The “MaddZart Hands on Initiative” (MHI) is a nonprofit organization actively providing human and other resources towards disaster relief and charitable, social causes throughout St. Vincent and the Grenadines and its extended community.”
As part of this joint venture, during carnival MaddZart will endorse and promote the "Catch the Vibe, not the Virus" campaign. His image and likeness will be used in television, radio, social media and print ads promoting safe, responsible sexual behavior. Condoms and other promotional paraphernalia has already and will continue to be available at his merchandise booth at all events. Additionally as the season progresses and even after Vincy Mas, a quantity of condoms will be donated to the National Aid Secretariat.
Another major aspect of the campaign is the release of a special song designed to enhance the campaign called "Catch the Vibe". All proceeds from the sales of this record will be used to fund the campaign. The song can be downloaded from a special tab available on MaddZart's website. MaddZart.com/catch-the-vibe
"Catch the Vibe, not the Virus" will climax with the presentation of a special stage for the revelers and masqueraders carnival Monday and Tuesday respectively. This special venture will be supported by MaddZart's drink brand, "POSSÉ", some major media houses and other esteemed sponsors to be announced.
MaddZart started the MHI because he wanted direct hands on Involvement, participating in the work that would make a difference as opposed to merely making a donation or giving a performance which is the normal routine. MaddZart instead wants to physically address and make an impact on the causes that he takes on. For MaddZart, getting to meet, work with and share common stories with those who would be impacted in a positive way and seeing the common ground rather than the differences, is rewarding to him.
